I hold a Masters Degree in Education and was a high school teacher in the public school system. As a teacher, I was very unhappy with the regulations the administration put on us to teach to the standardized testing. I witnessed racism, bullying, economic inequality, and ableism. I decided I could no longer work for a corrupt institution. As a parent, I was sickened by the way my children were treated in the public school system. I made the decision to give up my former career and homeschool my kids. Today, my kids are passionate and thriving young people. I love to help other parents understand the educational choices available to their families.
